The weather for this year’s garage sale was cool and rainy but despite that, it was another huge success! Over 100 homes registered to take part and the sellers told me they had tons of buyers and sold lots!
With hundreds of extra cars in the neighbourhood, AJ McLellan School was kind enough to open their parking lot to allow for people to park and walk to the sales. They also had a concession set up and sold food to raise money for their new school park fundraising efforts.
Anyway, thanks again to all of the households that participated! I hope everyone had a great time and sold lots! We’ll do it all again next year!

It’s back! The 10th Annual West Cloverdale Neighbourhood Garage Sale sponsored of course by me….Scott Moe! This year’s sale will be held on Saturday April 27th, 2013. Registration forms and emails have already started coming in. Last year we had over 100 homes participating which generated A LOT of interest and buyer traffic. So if you are thinking of having a garage sale this year, this is the day to do it!
Come help raise funds for AJ! Don’t miss the upcoming ‘Magical Night with Santa’ at AJ McLellan Elementary School in Cloverdale! This fundraiser takes place Friday, December 7, 2012 from 5pm to 8pm. Tickets are available at the door. Lots of fun activities including a photo op with Santa (bring your own camera), craft fair, bake sale, cake walk and magic show. Fun for the whole family
We did it again! This year’s 10th Annual Scott Moe Pumpkin Drop took place today, October 20, 2012, and for the 10 year anniversary we set a new record! This year we again had 2 trucks/trailers and delivered a whopping record 1,200 pumpkins to various Cloverdale neighourhoods!!

Thanks again to my awesome crew of friends, family, and team members that helped me do it all! It was great to see all of the neighbourhood kids running up to our truck to grab a pumpkin and hear them yelling “Thanks Scott Moe!”

We lucked out with the weather and actually had a mostly sunny morning. As I write this at 2:30pm it looks like the rain is rolling in so we lucked out!
And guess what? We’ll do it all again next year! HAPPY HALLOWEEN TO ALL!
I saw a link to this YouTube video on the Silverman Mortgage Group’s blog and thought it was so good that I had to post on my blog too! This kid may be the next Brian Tracy or Zig Ziglar in the making…
The message is so simple…keep practicing! Whether you are learning to ride a bike, learn a new language, entering a new job, or just learning life…PRACTICE! If only we could all be so enthusiastic about learning…Thumbs up to everyone trying to learn something new out there!!
This year’s garage sale was another huge success with a record 120+ houses taking part! The weather was overcast but no rain other than a small shower around 2pm at which point most sales were wrapping up anyway. Sellers told me they had tons of buyers and sold lots!
With that many people all trying to get to the sales, parking was once again an issue and unfortunately a few bylaw officers were handing out tickets. Kind of put a damper on an otherwise great day, but as the bylaw officer told me, the law is the law.
